Crane
The crane is a bird of contracts and bad bargains. She puts her head in the wolf's mouth and calls survival her only payment. She joins the geese in the field and is caught with them. Her long neck makes her trusting; her company ruins her. She warns against serving the wicked and keeping bad company.
