Prometheus and Men

Prometheus, on Zeus's orders, had modelled men and beasts. But Zeus, having noticed that the beasts were far more numerous, ordered him to do away with a certain number of them by transforming them into men. Prometheus carried out this order. The result was that those who did not receive human form from the start have indeed a man's shape, but a beast's soul.
