A rich man came to live near a tanner. As he could not bear the bad smell, he pressed him ceaselessly to move house. The tanner always put him off, promising to move in a while. As their dispute kept being renewed, it came about in the long run that the rich man got used to the smell and stopped bothering the tanner.
