ENFRESDEIT
FableNº 120

Zeus and Men

After moulding humankind, Zeus charged Hermes with pouring intelligence into them. Hermes, making equal portions, poured each his share. It came about that men of small stature, filled up by their portion, were sensible people, but that men of great stature, the draught not reaching all through their bodies, had less sense than the rest.

*Physical stature is no measure of intelligence.
