Doctor
The doctor of the fables is expertise after the fact. He attends the funeral and remarks that the dead man should have given up wine. Treating an old woman's eyes, he steals her furniture as the cure proceeds. The healthy one diagnoses best. Aesop trusts him exactly as far as the patient recovers.
