FableNº 22

The Fishermen and the Tuna

Some fishermen had been out a long time and caught nothing; they sat in their boat, sunk in discouragement. Just then a tuna, chased and fleeing with a great splashing, leapt by mistake straight into their boat. They seized it, carried it to town, and sold it.

Often what our skill refuses us, chance hands over for nothing.
