The Weasel and the Hens

A weasel heard that the hens on a farm were sick. She disguised herself as a doctor, took up the instruments of the trade, and went there. Standing before the farm, she asked the hens how they were doing. "Very well," they answered, "if you will go away."

Sensible folk see straight through wicked people, however much they playact at honesty.
