ENFRESDEIT
FableNº 264

The Wild Ass and the Tame Ass

A wild ass, on seeing a tame ass in a spot well exposed to the sun, came up to congratulate it on its good condition and the pasture it enjoyed. But later, on seeing it loaded with a burden and followed by the driver who was striking it with a cudgel, he cried out, "Oh, I no longer congratulate you; for I see that it is at the price of great sufferings that you enjoy your abundance."

So there is nothing to envy in advantages that come with dangers and sufferings.
