Fisherman

The fisherman is patience negotiating with luck. He pipes to the fish and they will not dance; only the net persuades them. He keeps the small catch in hand rather than gamble on the big one unseen. Sometimes he beats the water to drive fish into his nets, muddying everyone's drink. He is the worker who takes fortune as it comes, one haul at a time.
