Traveller

The traveller is the man on the road, and the road tests him. He finds treasures, axes, and gods' altars, and quarrels over all of them. Between wind and sun, his cloak decides a divine contest. He swears falsely at the shrine and learns the gods keep accounts. Every encounter on the way is a small trial of character.
