The Ass in the Lion's Skin

an ass put on a lion's skin and went about the country frightening the animals. He caught sight of a fox and meant to frighten her too. But the fox, who happened to have heard his voice earlier, said to him, "Make no mistake, you would have scared me as well, had I not heard you bray."

Ill-educated those who put on a grand show and seem to be something give themselves away by their itch to talk.
